Забелязва се, челните места са заети от транс DJ-и, а и това не е учудващо понеже това е най-лесно смилаемия и достъпен стил на електронната мусика и за това толкова много хора я слушат

За Тиесто, не визирах теб специално, а всички, които си мислят, че като е дошъл в България и че като пускат постоянно Traffic в детските дискотеки, едва ли не той е Единствения! Аз си го уважавам, ама четвъртата година щеше да му дайде малко "по инерция"... А пък и Пол ван Дайк е достатъчно дълго време в тая сфера и се е достатъчно доказал, за да бъде #1 тая година

eNforcer колкото и гадно да ми е да го кажа Tiesto e комерсиален все пак има песни дето се въртят доста и много хора го знаят само с тези песни - traffic както каза, adagi for strings, just be.Няма са много хората които могат да ти кажат някоя друга песен няко "по-запознат" може да ти каже love comes again, lethal industry и нещо друго от parade of the athletes и толкова.
PVD наистина трябва да му се отдаде заслуженото

Top 100 DJs 2006: Results
The results of the most important poll in dance music

A staggering 217,102 dance music fans voted in DJmag's 2006 Top 100 DJs poll.

That's 90,000 more than last year and a true indication that dance music is still a massive global phenomenon.

The truly global reach of DJ culture was once again highlighted with votes coming in from 229 different countries (there are only 243 recognised countries in the world).

The USA provided the most votes in 2006, closely followed by the UK, and then Germany.

But there was also a sharp increase in voters from Brazil, Israel and Canada.

The next 150 DJs who didn't make it into the poll will be revealed exclusively on DJmag.com on 8 November 2006.

There are interviews with all 100 of the DJs that made it into the poll in DJmag's special collector's edition of the magazine. Out Now.

Paul van Dyk - PVD has retained his crown as the world’s number one DJ in 2006. The German trancer remains top dog for the second year running.

Armin van Buuren - After spending three years at No.3, Dutch trance star Armin has beaten the mighty Tiësto to second place. His hard work continues to pay off.

Tiesto - Three times No.1 DJ Tiësto remains one of the world’s biggest spinners, capable of filling stadiums with his epic Dutch trance sounds.

Christopher Lawrence - North American trance don Lawrence is leading the scene Stateside and is increasingly present on the global stage. He’s climbed up 10 places since last year.

DJ Dan - US jock Dan wins the ‘Highest House DJ’ accolade this year. Although something of a dark horse in Europe, in the States he’s huge.

Ferry Corsten - Ferry has had a number of big hits over the years, and 2006 was a great year for him - his album received critical acclaim the world over.

Sasha - Sasha is the highest placed British DJ in this year’s poll, and still one of the world’s biggest. He played at Sonar in Barcelona for the first time in 2006.

Digweed - Diggers has been in the Top 10 for years, and has constantly strived to inject new sounds into his sets. He’s a true renaissance man.

Above & Beyond - The DJ/production trio are one of the main acts breathing new life into the trance scene. It’s no surprise they have finally broken into the Top 10.

Deep Dish - The Washington-based duo fill clubs the world over, and have won many awards over the years whilst remixing the likes of Madonna.

1 Armin Van Buuren - Finally. Five years after entering the Top 10 of our DJmag Top 100 DJs poll, Armin van Buuren has been crowned the World’s No.1 DJ.

2 Tiësto - After winning three years in a row before losing his crown to Paul van Dyk last year, Tiësto once again came close to lifting the No.1 title.

John Digweed - John Digweed is well accustomed to long journeys. That’s largely a function of his globetrotting lifestyle of course, something he’s more than happy to talk about when DJmag tracks him down at Dallas airport.

Paul Van Dyk - From the intense production involved in ‘In Between’ — the artist album he’s been perfecting for the last three years — to the high-energy live sets at the world’s biggest dance festivals, it’s been an exceedingly busy year for Paul van Dyk.

Sasha - It’s been a period of change for Sasha. One of the world’s most widely travelled DJs, he cut back on his club activities during the first half of the year to spend more time in his studio in New York.

Above & Beyond - Above & Beyond’s vault from innovative trance trio to globe-trotting DJ superstars is now complete.

Carl Cox - “Over the years, people have got used to labeling me a techno DJ,” reckons Carl Cox. “But I’ve been a drum & bass DJ, a house DJ, a hardcore DJ, a soul DJ — some called me a trance DJ in my F.A.C.T. days. I just try not to be pigeon-holed.”

Ferry Corsten - Architect, pioneer, instigator — refer to him anyway you want. Ferry was unquestionably the man behind 1999’s Great Dutch Trance Breakout, splitting the door wide open with ‘Out Of The Blue’, ‘Carte Blanche’ and ‘Gouryella’.

Infected Mushroom - Just two years after breaking into the Top 100 as one of the highest new entries in history, the boundary busting psy-trance overlords have finally smashed their way into the elusive number. Infected Mushroom — Amit ‘Duvdev’ Duvdevani and Erez Eizen — are Top 10 gunners at last.

David Guetta - Despite spinning from the age of 17 in various Parisian venues and now onto his third artist album, this was nevertheless the year that David Guetta really became a household name in house music.
